Demo Reel Detailing
I - The Dreanought
I had to opportunity to work with Florian Fraresso (character artist and friend of mine) to bring to life his model of a Warhammer 40K Dreadnought.
This project was my first, made from scratch, mechanical rig.

Dreadnough : Rig Showcase

Even if the model was made as a figure first, it was a fun challenge to tweak and split it apart to make it as animation friendly as possible.

Unreal Engine : Gameplay Simulation

Unreal Engine : movement and firing animation (front and back)

Unreal Engine : walkcycle animation (front and back)

And seeing it come together in Unreal (with some clothing simulation on the parchments and cables) was worth the extra trouble.

II - The Kill Joy Turret
As a practice, I challenged myself to do a full set of game ready animations in a day.
Using the Kill joy turret rig made by A$AP BERG (and not knowing anything about valorant whatsoever), I tackled this self-imposed exercise.

Blender : Animation set render

Unreal Engine : Gameplay simulation

Unreal Engine : AnimZoo

An extra firing animation was added for a better blend between the idle and the first shot

III - ’A Dual Ascent’ Showcase
’A Dual Ascent’ is my end of studies game, I‘ve made a dedicated page on my porfolio that you can get to with the link below :
IV - The T-rex
I really just wanted to animate a T-rex.
For inspiration/reference I used a video of a  shaved chicken (found here : https://youtu.be/ccCtUPE0TM ) as well as an excerpt of the documentary Prehistoric Planet (found here : https://youtu.be/zWGnlAQsRaE).

Thanks again to Jean-yan BABOIS for making such an amazing rig !
V - After credit Sonic the hedgehog
Being a huge fan of the Blue blur and coming accross the rig made by Dandaca3D, I had to make a 3D rendition of this legendary walkcycle

The 8 frames used for the animation and the full loop (based on Sonic 2’s version of the walkcycle)

Taking inspiration of the recently released Super Mario Wonder (and its incredible Dev log)  and Sonic Superstars, I took a shot at completely breaking a 3D model for the camera.

Blender : Sonic animation tricks

Thank you for taking a look at my demo reel and reading this page to the very end !
